SaskGaming entered into The Gaming Agreement Framework in 1994, which was an agreement between the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) and the Government of Saskatchewan who represents SaskGaming. It was at this time, that the 50% Indigenous employment target was established.
We are proud to acknowledge that SaskGaming which operates Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw has the highest Indigenous employment rate within the Saskatchewan public sector.
We also encourage applications and the hiring of other employment equity groups such as women, visible minorities and persons with disabilities as defined by the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. We also encourage the hiring of members of the 2SLGTBQ+ community and share community resources with all team members throughout the corporation.
