SANDMAN, licensed by Metallica tribute band, has been blowing audiences away since 1994. Band members Rick Van Dyk (lead vocals and lead/rhythm guitar), Joe Di Taranto (lead/rhythm guitar and vocals), Paulo Fonseca (bass and vocals), Brent Niemi (drums), collectively have a lifetime of musical experience playing and recording.

Coming from Recording Acts like the Headstones, Helix, Honeymoon Suite, Matthew Good, War Machine, this Metallica tribute is international touring tribute across Canada, the US and Dubai. Sandman got worldwide attention in 2016 when a publishing arm of Metallica issued a cease desist order which came to Lars’s attention and Metallica management. Subsequently Lars phoned the band and apologized and quickly gave them a licensing agreement to keep doing what they’re doing carrying the Metallica flag across the world.
