Moondance: The Legend of Van Morrison

Sir George Ivan Morrison, known professionally as Van Morrison has a career
spanning seven decades. He has released over 45 studio albums, and continues to
do so.

Known as "Van the Man" to his fans, Morrison rose to prominence in the mid
1960s as the lead singer of the Northern Irish R&B and rock band Them. With
Them, he recorded the garage band classic "Gloria"

Morrison's solo career began in 1967 with the release of the hit single "Brown
Eyed Girl" . He built on his reputation throughout the 1970s with a series of
acclaimed albums and live performances.

The Hits, just kept coming, “Moondance”, “Tupelo Honey”,”Wild Night”,
Wavelength”, “Bright Side of the Road”, “Have I Told You Lately?”, “Into the
Mystic”, as so many more.

His influence on a young Darcy Greig has created a lifelong passion for Van’s
music. Darcy continues to impress audiences with his uncanny ability to cover
Van’s classics. There is no better singer to present the Legacy and Music of Van
Morrison.

Darcy is joined by his pals from Saskatoon’s Legendary Rhythm & Blues REVUE to
make this a memorable show for you. The lineup includes Gordon Mosher on
Saxophone(s), Tom Chunik on guitar, Andrew Allsopp and Grant Sotnikow on
keyboards (piano, synth, Hammond organ and horn section). The groove is held
down by Glenn Ens on drums and Gord MacAulay on Bass. Little Miss Dynamite, 
Holly Stasiuk provides her sweet harmonies to Darcy's powerful voice.
