Testament to his drive and talent, Chad Brownlee (MDM Recordings Inc. / Universal Music Canada) is an extraordinary example of what one person can achieve.  Although he may focus on living in the moment, absorbing every treasured second with his fans while performing on stage, Brownlee has already lived a life many would argue could fill multiple lifetimes.  An award-winning singer, songwriter, philanthropist and former NHL draft pick, country music artist Brownlee is by definition a renaissance man, who lives by the credence that “opportunity lies along the path created by the choices you make.”

With over a billion radio impressions to date, his singles have rapidly climbed the country music charts, with multiple singles cracking the national Top 10. His current single “Somethin’ We Shouldn’t Do” off of Brownlee’s new album Hearts On Fire (album release date: April 29, 2016) was recently released to Canadian radio, (following his previous two Top 10 singles “Hearts On Fire” and “I Hate You For It”).  As of May 30, 2016 Chad achieved the 8th top charting Canadian position on the BDS Country chart. “I Hate You For It” was #1 on Mediabase most added country format and #2 on most added all format during the week of May 2, 2016. The video for the single “Hearts On Fire” was nominated for a 2016 Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) Video of the Year Award™, and the album was recognized with nominations in the Album of the Year and Recording Package of the Year categories.
